What to Expect During BBL Heroic Treatment
During your BBL Heroic treatment at the Rose Spa, you should experience minimal to no discomfort as our provider gently moves the handpiece across your skin. At the same time, the chilled sapphire crystal will keep your skin cool and comfortable. After the treatment, you may continue to feel warm for an additional 30 to 60 minutes.
Most patients can expect visible results in just 1 to 2 treatments, while traditional IPL technology requires 5 to 6 treatments to achieve similar results. We will collaborate with you to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific skin revitalization needs, whether it's a series of corrective treatments or establishing an ongoing skincare regimen.
After treatment, patients can usually return to their normal activities immediately. However, following your Rose Spa provider's advice and avoiding direct sun exposure by wearing sunscreen is essential.
Keep the following in mind:
- Your skin may feel sensitive, similar to a sunburn
- During the healing process, pigmented areas may darken, and there may be some temporary swelling and redness
- Your body's natural healing process will start in the days to weeks following your treatment, replacing damaged cells with new ones and resulting in revitalized skin
