Dermaplaning is a nonsurgical and noninvasive facial exfoliation procedure that provides a wide range of skin health benefits while immediately noticing improvements in the look and feel of the skin.
The procedure is done by one of our expert aestheticians using a surgical-grade scalpel held at an angle against the skin to painlessly exfoliate the very fine layer of the skin surface that has typically been exposed to sun and the elements and thus appears lackluster. Dirt, dead skin cells, and debris accumulated over time on the skin are removed along with the vellus hair, or “peach fuzz.” Removing the vellus hair in this manner does not cause it to grow back any thicker.
Your skin will feel incredibly soft and smooth and look healthier, more vibrant, and more refreshed. Most textural irregularities are resolved through dermaplaning, and the procedure increases the absorption rate of topical products that are subsequently applied.
