Injectables & Dermal Fillers
Sun exposure, genetic factors and aging can all cause your skin to thin, losing its firm elastic quality. At the Rose Clinic for Plastic and Migraine Surgery, with the help of board certified plastic surgeon Kevin G. Rose, MD, we make it possible to achieve a more youthful appearance by offering a variety of FDA- approved cosmetic fillers and injectables.
Injectable dermal fillers have added a new dimension to the field of cosmetic surgery, allowing new ways to achieve facial rejuvenation and treat wrinkles, lines, and creases without surgery. Below are listed the products that Dr. Rose offers:
BOTOX is one of the most popular of all injectable treatments, used by millions of women and men to reduce wrinkles, lines, and creases on the face. BOTOX has also been found to be an effective treatment for those who suffer from migraines and some other health conditions. Are you tired of looking tired? BOTOX injections can smooth your face and reduce the appearance of fine lines around the eyes (crow’s feet), forehead creases, and frown lines, giving your face a more vital, youthful look.
Dr. Rose is one of the first and only physicians in Utah county to offer this amazing treatment. The first injectable product that the FDA has approved to treat submental fat, Kybella is designed to dissolve stubborn under-the-chin fat. Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a fat-absorbing substance found in our bodies naturally. Find out more today.
This is a smooth-consistency gel that is composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in your skin and provides volume and hydration. JUVÉDERM Ultra Plus is widely used to smooth nasolabial folds (the area between the upper lip and cheek), add volume to facial areas, reduce the appearance of lip lines, and to plump and define the lips. Results from JUVÉDERM Ultra Plus can be seen immediately after treatment, and can last up to a year.
Sculptra is an injectable product that adds volume to various areas of the face to create a soft, natural, more youthful look. It has the added benefit of triggering the body to produce more collagen as it gradually disappears. The results of Sculptra can be seen for years, and may involve multiple treatment sessions, depending upon the condition of your skin and tissue.
The newest hyaluronic acid that lasts up to 18 months and can be injected almost anywhere other products are injected.
Injectable Fillers and Skincare Products
For our patients across Utah, including Salt Lake City, Provo, and beyond, injectable fillers have become a very popular option to appear younger – without invasive surgery. These treatments are effective, affordable, and provide fast and long-lasting results, with no downtime or recovery. These procedures can usually be performed in our office in one short visit. Unlike older, animal-derived products, today’s “next generation” fillers do not require allergy pre-testing, so you can enjoy younger looking skin after a single appointment.
Typically, an injectable filler procedure takes only 30 minutes or less, so you can have it performed over your lunch break. The needle Dr. Rose uses is very fine, and causes minimal redness and swelling. He combines his skill as a surgeon with his refined aesthetic sensibility to add the right amount of volume just where you need it. Most patients find that they can return to normal activities immediately following their treatment. If you would like, a topical numbing cream can be called in for you to apply prior to coming or we can apply it and have you wait a short time for it to take effect.
Dr. Rose recommends that you avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and any consumption of alcoholic beverages for 24 hours following your treatment. This is to help minimize the risk of temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the treatment sites. For individuals who would like to see more dramatic, permanent results, facelift surgery may produce the look you are hoping to achieve.
